How It Works
EcoProtec Stone & Tile Intensive Cleaner uses a powerful stripping and cleaning formulation to break down oils, sealers, coatings, and heavy dirt. When diluted and applied to the surface, it penetrates deeply, loosening contamination for removal through agitation and rinsing. The cleaner is effective across a wide range of mineral surfaces, restoring clarity and preparing the substrate for further treatments.
Instructions for Use
Always test on an inconspicuous area first to determine optimal dilution and ensure colour fastness.
- Sweep or dry mop the floor to remove loose dirt and grit.
- Mix the solution according to the required dilution:
- Surface cleaning: 1:10 in warm water
- Deep stripping: 1:5 in warm water
- Extreme cases: 1:1 in warm water (e.g., removal of oil sealers)
- Apply the solution generously to the surface, ensuring full coverage.
- Allow the product to work for 5–10 minutes, keeping the floor damp.
- Agitate using a mildly abrasive pad or, if suitable, a machine scrubber.
- Remove dirty residue using a mop or wet vacuum.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Allow the surface to dry completely before applying any further treatments.
- Severely contaminated surfaces may require repeated cleaning.
