ASMACO 2200 is a high‑quality, single‑component acetic cure silicone sealant that cures on exposure to moisture to form a flexible, durable elastomeric joint. It is widely used across construction, glazing, and general sealing applications due to its strong adhesion, weather resistance, and ease of use. The TDS notes that it “vulcanizes on exposure to moisture in the air at room temperature, to produce a flexible elastomeric sealant” .

Usage Instructions
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, and frost .
- Apply using a standard caulking gun.
- Tool the sealant within 5 minutes before skin formation begins (skin forms within 10 minutes) .
- If masking tape is used, remove it before the sealant skins.
- Primer is generally not required for non‑porous substrates.
- Cures at approx. 3–4 mm per day depending on humidity and temperature .
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store below 25°C, away from heat and direct sunlight .
- Shelf life: 11 months in unopened packaging .
- Store upright; do not stack cartons more than 8 high.
