IDROSTOP is a high‑performance, solvent‑based water‑repellent impregnator formulated by B‑Chem Italy to protect natural stone surfaces from moisture, staining, and environmental deterioration. According to the technical sheet, it is “especially formulated to protect marbles, granites and natural stones from water and dirt penetration, frost damage and to stop calcareous efflorescence” .
The product penetrates deeply without altering the natural appearance of the stone, making it ideal for polished or honed surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. Its transparent, limpid liquid formulation ensures a natural finish with no surface film.

Application Instructions
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of chemicals.
- Apply an even coat using lambswool, brush, or low‑pressure sprayer.
- On polished surfaces, remove excess product after 15–30 minutes using a cloth .
- For highly absorbent stones, apply 2–3 coats.
- Coverage: 15–20 m² per liter depending on porosity .
