According to the technical sheet, it “forms an extremely hard micro‑coating that tenaciously bonds and reacts with the substrate,” creating a durable, insoluble protective layer.

This treatment significantly improves sheen, hardness, stain resistance, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for commercial, industrial, and high‑traffic environments. Beton Guard Lithium is non‑toxic, non‑hazardous, VOC‑compliant (<50 g/L), fast‑drying, and non‑streaking. It enhances colour intensity, reduces efflorescence, and keeps surfaces looking clean and polished.

When maintenance is required, the surface can be restored simply by washing, reapplying Beton Guard Lithium, and burnishing — no stripping needed.

How to Use (From Klindex TDS)

Surface Preparation

• Apply after grinding to 400 grit.
• Ensure surface is clean and dry (auto‑scrubber recommended).

Application

• Apply very thin coats using a pre‑dampened microfiber pad.
• Spray lightly and spread evenly.
• Treat areas in 6m × 6m sections.
• Coverage: 1st coat: 40–70 m²/L
• Allow 30–60 minutes drying time.
• Burnish with Discolux M56 using a high‑speed machine (e.g., Hurrikane).
• Apply 2nd or 3rd coat for higher gloss and protection (70–100 m²/L).

Final Step

• High‑speed burnish for maximum gloss.

Important

• Do not cover the floor for 1 week after application.
• Avoid standing water for 7 days.

Maintenance

• Routine sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing with Stone Soap.
• Avoid acidic, citrus, or butyl cleaners.
• Wipe spills immediately.
• Regular burnishing prolongs shine.
