Many stones — especially white granites — naturally contain iron minerals that oxidize over time, causing yellow or brown rust patches. Rust can also appear due to iron filings, metal tools, or contamination during installation.

Smakkio Rust penetrates deep into the stone structure, dissolving oxidation and preventing further rust formation. It restores the material’s natural color and clarity without damaging the stone when used correctly. For pyrite‑rich stones, the product remains effective even on deep rust clots with extended application time.

Suitable for horizontal and vertical surfaces, Smakkio Rust can be poured, brushed, or sprayed depending on the application. It may be diluted for sensitive materials such as white marble, with polishing recommended afterward.

Instructions for Use

• Shake Smakkio Rust well before use
• Lay the material horizontally when possible
• Pour generously and spread uniformly
• Allow 2 hours for superficial rust
• Allow up to 72 hours for pyrite rust clots
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water
• Use a plastic brush if needed to remove residues

Application Methods

• Pour directly onto the surface
• Spread using a paintbrush, cloth, paper, broom, or plastic brush
• For vertical surfaces: spray from bottom to top

Important Notes

• Smakkio Rust is acid‑based
• Not recommended for white marble unless diluted
